‘Galbi’ Korean for ‘rib’ refers to beef chuck short ribs, served on the bone and marinated in Sweet Soy Sauce with Onion and Black Pepper. However, the name can vary depending on the type of meat used to produce the meal e.g. pork spareribs. Galbi is served raw, then cooked on tabletop grills usually by the diners themselves.
